Video: Ford Verve Concept
Deemed as one the most interesting concepts of this year’s Frankfurt Show, the Verve is what we all wish that next year’s production version of the Fiesta will look like. Of course, we’ll probably be like “duh” in 2008 when Ford takes the wraps of the new Fiesta covered in semi-colored bumpers and 14-inch wheels, but what else is new. In this official video, Ford Europe’s head of design, Martin Smith and his team, explain the philosophy behind the creation of the Verve Concept.

Fifth Gear Test The 2008 Ford Mondeo
The folks over at Fifth Gear took the all-new Ford Mondeo for a spin and they absolutely loved it. Having driven the 2008 Mondeo ourselves, can’t say that we blame them. Ford managed to create a mid-size sedan with a premium feel and a sub-premium price tag. Don’t get us wrong, it’s a billion times better looking than its predecessor, but having seen the stunning IOSIS concept, we were expecting something with a bit more character. But as an associate of mine says, when it comes to design, opinions are like aooooles; everybody has one…

1936 Ford hotrod that’ll star in the 2008 Iron Man Movie
The “King of the Kustomizers” aka George Barris stumbled upon the famous stunt driver Tom Harper (among others, Fast & Furious I, II & III, Waterworld and Matrix 2 & 3, )
at an auto shop in LA showing off his custom built 1936 Ford hotrod that’ll participate in the 2008 blockbuster, Iron Man. We don’t know the how’s or why’s, but Barris managed to videotape the mini interview with Harper who’s worked with him in the past. Just for the records, the Marvel comic based movie is directed by Jon Favreau and stars Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark (Iron Man). The film is scheduled to hit the big-screen on May 2, 2008.
