Chevrolet Captiva: New Accessories Pack

Chevrolet UK just launched a new range of accessories for its new Captiva. The Korean mid-sized SUV with the American nameplate can be accentuated by a set of Irmscher 20-inch Evo Star alloy wheels and stainless steel side bars. Other exterior styling accessories for the new Captiva include side steps, a chrome tailpipe trim, chrome effect door mirror housings, door handles and tail light surrounds, and side wind deflectors for the front windows to minimise wind noise. -Continued after the jump

Towing and touring accessories, including a base carrier to support both bike carriers and roof boxes, tow bars, mud guards, towing mirrors and a reverse parking sensor along with a range of floor mats, cargo liners and a dog guard.

Chevrolet Creates World's First Scratch Car-d

Ladies and Gents, grab your pennies because Chevrolet Europe has launched its first SUV (Captiva) in the UK market. To make the debut more interesting, Chevy slapped a film of latex on a Captiva, laid it on a bed of pennies in London’s Covent Garden and told people to scratch away. The Scratch Car-d event was a scratch and reveal game where people would scratch a portion on the car with one revealing a symbol to win the vehicle.

Chevrolet UK’s Les Turton stated, “You’ve been able to scratch to win a car before, but using a vehicle as an actual scratch card is certainly a first and it could take 14 hours of scratching”. Personally, we’re anxiously awaiting the Scratch-n-Sniff car. Someone should seriously consider that idea. -More pictures after the jump
