How Much Does The Nissan 350Z Cost In Your Country?

We’re more than sure that you’ve asked yourself a question like this at some point; how much does the “X” car cost in other countries? Well, we decided to try to answer that question for the “Z” car, aka the Nissan 350Z which is available in most countries. For time’s sake, we searched for the price of the entry-level (standard equipment differs in each country) Nissan 350Z in 23 markets all over the world converting prices into Euro and US Dollars (exchange rates: Nov. 11, 2007).

You can check our detailed list after the jump, but here are the top three worst and best places to live in if you’re interested in buying a basic Nissan 350Z: Lowest Prices - USA €19,070 or $27,980, Japan €22,575 or $33,123 & Mexico €33,428 or $49,047. Highest Prices - Norway €112,660 or $165,258, Denmark €104,646 or $153,540 & Brazil €91,793 or $134,682 -Continued after the jump

Carscoop Notes:

We tried doing the same with other cars available in worldwide markets like the new Subaru Impreza WRX or the VW Golf GTi, but in most cases, we couldn’t find pricing on several official sites in a logical timeframe –as you can understand, we couldn’t spend more than 5 to 10 minutes on each site.

Just for the record, we couldn’t find prices for the 350Z on the Turkish, Saudi Arabian, Trinidad & Tobago, Kuwaiti, Jamaican and Chinese Nissan sites, while on the other hand, in countries like Israel, Nigeria, India and Vietnam, the 350Z wasn’t available (or at least, not on the official site).

Poll: Which Car Should Play In The New Knight Rider TV Series?

Since we learned last night that NBC has decided to revive Knight Rider (click here) with a new TV series next fall, we've been raking our brain to try and find the best candidate to surrogate Knight’s 1980’s Pontiac Firebird Trans-Am. Heck, we even stayed up last night playing around with photoshop just to see what KITT would look like if he were a Chevy Camaro –mmm, maybe, a Cadillac Cien –we liked this one, an Audi R8 –that sucked, even an Impreza WRX STi –that’ll piss off many Texans.

Carscoop Poll: Would You Consider Buying A Diesel Powered Vehicle In The US?

With gas prices hiking up every month in the US (see 6-year chart after the jump), diesel powered vehicles suddenly seem to have a viable future in the American market. Not only do they consume around 20 to 30 percent less fuel than a petrol-powered vehicle with similar output but also among other things, they’re more reliable.

Question is, would you consider buying one, and if yes, it would be interesting to see if you'd be more prone to buy an American, Japanese, Korean or European diesel powered passenger vehicle. And if you’re wondering why we added American carmakers in the equation, the reason is, thanks to Ford’s, Chrysler’s and GM’s tie ups with their Euro counterparts, the former big three won’t have any trouble equipping several models in their range with diesel powertains. Carscoop Poll: If Fiat Brought The 500 To The US, Would You Buy It?

You’ve seen it and you like it a lot but the question is, if it were to be imported to the States, would you actually go ahead and sign a check to buy Fiat’s retro styled Nuovo 500? Although this is based on pure speculations, think of a price range between $12k and $19k. Moreover, just to set things into perspective, we’re talking about an intermediate alternative to sub-compact cars like the tiny Smart Fortwo, Honda Jazz, Toyota Yaris and the more upscale VW Beetle and MINI and not to larger or sportier cars in the same price range.
